Less energy loss, more comfort

In many existing buildings, a great deal of heat is lost through walls, roof, ceilings and windows. Energy-efficient renovation therefore starts with the building envelope: we have it modernised so that energy demand falls and the indoor climate becomes more comfortable.

We plan the measures as a whole, because insulation, windows and airtightness have to work together. Otherwise thermal bridges or moisture problems arise. As general contractor, we commission the specialist contractors and coordinate their work.

Especially in Berlin and Brandenburg, with their large stock of older buildings, it pays to look closely at the building's condition before deciding on measures.

What is delivered for your building

Insulation of façade and roof
External walls and roof surfaces are insulated to a professional standard. We match the insulation material and build-up to your building.
Top-floor ceiling and basement ceiling
The top-floor ceiling and the basement ceiling are insulated as well. This is often an effective step that is easy to plan.
Windows and external doors
Windows and external doors are replaced, with clean, airtight installation where they meet the wall.
Thermal bridges and airtightness
We make sure that critical junctions are detailed to minimise thermal bridges and that the building envelope is airtight.
Site management and coordination
You have one contract and one point of contact. We commission the specialist contractors, align their work and keep an eye on the programme.
Liaison with your energy consultant
Planning and execution belong together, which is why we go through the details directly with your energy consultant if you wish.

Frequently asked questions

Is energy-efficient renovation worthwhile?

That depends on the condition of your building and the measures chosen. For older buildings with an uninsulated envelope, the potential savings are often high. There is no blanket answer. We look at your property and explain which steps make sense.

Is funding available for energy-efficient renovation?

Yes, many measures are eligible for funding programmes, for example through the German federal funding scheme for efficient buildings (BEG), administered by KfW and BAFA. Conditions change, and the application generally has to be submitted before work begins. Your energy consultant will support you with this. If you wish, we liaise with them.

Do I need an energy consultant beforehand?

For larger projects and for claiming funding, an energy consultant is generally advisable or required. They assess the building as a whole and draw up a plan. We then have specialist contractors from our network carry out the measures to a professional standard.

Can I stay in my home while the work is carried out?

For many measures, such as façade or roof insulation, that is possible. Work inside the building may bring some restrictions. We discuss this with you beforehand and plan the sequence to keep disruption as low as possible.
